Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers Solaiq Platform — the sizing, proposal, and project-management tool for solar installers at platform.solaiq-ph.com. It is separate from the privacy policy for our public marketing site and Messenger presence, which covers a different set of data.

1. Two kinds of data this platform holds

It matters which of these applies, since it changes whose data it is and who's responsible for it:

Your account data — information about you as a registered installer: company name, email address, password (hashed, never stored in readable form), your subscription status, an optional uploaded logo, and records of when you verified your email address and agreed to our Terms of Service. This is yours, and we are directly responsible for it.

Your clients' project data — the load profiles, addresses, and proposal details you enter about your own customers when using the platform to size a system or generate a proposal. You enter this data, not your client directly. For this data, you are the one with the direct relationship to your client — we hold it on your behalf, as the tool you've chosen to run your business through.

2. What we collect

When you register and use the platform, we collect:

Company name, email address, and password (hashed with bcrypt — we never see or store your actual password). Your email address is stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
The timestamp at which you agreed to these Terms of Service at registration.
An uploaded company logo, if you choose to add one.
Whatever project and cost data you enter — client names, addresses, load profiles, appliance details, pricing configurations, and proposal or contract content — for the projects you create.
Basic technical data needed to keep you signed in: a session cookie, and your IP address as part of standard server access logs.
Data from Cloudflare Turnstile, used to protect the registration form against automated abuse. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy; we do not receive or store the underlying signals, only the pass/fail result of the verification.

We do not currently collect payment card information — billing is not yet automated on this platform.

3. How we use it

To operate your account — authentication, email verification, keeping your projects and pricing settings private to you.
To generate the calculations, proposals, contracts, and diagrams the platform produces from the data you enter.
To send transactional emails: email verification links when you register, password-reset links when you request one, and account notifications such as support ticket updates, reactivation approvals, and plan changes. These are sent via Resend.
To maintain and improve the platform itself.

We do not sell your data, or your clients' data, to anyone.

4. How it's isolated and stored

Each installer account's data — projects, pricing, clients — is scoped to that account. Other installers using the platform cannot see it. Your email address is stored encrypted at rest. Data is stored on our hosting infrastructure, accessed only over HTTPS, with session security, rate limiting, and automated blocking in place against abusive access attempts.

5. Transactional emails

The platform sends the following automated emails to your registered address:

Email verification — sent once at registration, required to activate your account.
Password reset — sent when you request a reset link from the login page. Links are short-lived and single-use.
Account notices — sent when your account is deactivated, deleted, reactivated, or upgraded.
Support ticket updates — sent when your support ticket is received and when it is resolved.

These emails are sent via Resend. We do not send marketing or promotional emails to your registered address.

6. Cookies

We use one session cookie, required for you to stay signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and we do not run analytics or advertising scripts on the platform itself.

7. Data retention

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, see our Data Deletion page for what happens to your data and how long it takes.

8. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to:

Know what personal data we hold about you
Request a copy of it
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Object to certain uses of your data

9. Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Meaningful changes — anything that changes what we collect or how we use it — will also be communicated directly to registered installers.
